So why this course?
I tell people all the time that there are typically three reasons why a student won't perform as well as they'd like to on an exam:

  • Either they don't know the content
  • They may know the content but don't know how to apply it.
  • Or three,and this sometimes is the worst one, they have the knowledge but they didn't understand what the question was asking.
So with my online course, it will give you the high yield content that you need to improve on your percent of answering pathology questions correctly. It begins with an introduction which includes strategies on how to effectively study pathology. In addition, there is a discussion of the USMLE content outline 2024 update which includes how my course corellates with it. The video lessons are divided into 3 main categories: general pathology, systemic pathology, and multisystem processes and disorders. Of course, high yield topics are discussed with differentials, associations, complications, etc. To make it an interactive experience, I also ask a lot of open ended questions and give you a little pause so you have time to try to answer the question.
Because typically if you can answer most these questions, you're in a good place for your exams,
internal or external.


Now if you're having problems, either applying it or understanding the question, then that's where my one on one tutoring comes in. Let's talk about how I have typically helped students in this manner. You bring up on your laptop whatever question bank that you're using, like Uworld or Amboss, and you make an untimed quiz, about 10 or 15 questions. So in our little time period we'll have 50 minutes or so. I have you go through the question like you would out loud,
highlight, and then I will listen to you and help try to guide you to get you understand
what is this question asking you and what you should get out of the stem and the answer choices. And it's all about decoding the stem and the answer choices. So this is how I can help you with that as well as give you more confidence in answering questions.


The coaching can help give you structure as far as what you should actually use as learning materials. Because you're going to hear so many people are doing so many different things,
this honor student is doing this, this person is doing that. What should I be doing? So that's one of the things that I can help you with because it's about you. It's not what everybody else is doing.
It's about what is the best for you to study. And that's what coaching can do. We also can discuss any previous scores for evaluation to determine a plan of action. In addition, we can evaluate organization, time management, self awareness, etc.

Of course, I have the communities which are great for networking, being supportive. I will do the live Q&As. You can ask me anything under the sun about pathology. I also will be doing some reviews, probably even giving you some differentials as well, which you also will get in the online course. And of course, like I said, it's positive.
